I LOVED this book. ...Wow, I couldn't disagree more. I LOVED this book. And I've loved Hale's other stuff too, so it was fun to see her do something so different. After reading it, I googled to see what other people were saying and am interested in what diverse reactions it gets--love and hate. I was pretty shocked by your passionate hate for it. Clearly this wasn't a good match for you, but it was exactly what I wanted to read when I wanted to read it. I thought it was literary, funny, insightful, and dead on.
