I'd like to make an announcement.
Ahem hem...
I won't be posting for awhile. I thought it was my duty to let the 5 of you who sometimes may or may not peruse my blog that I'm taking a blogging sabbatical. Now, it's not because I've grown tired of the blogging world, or that I'm "over it", too busy, or have just run out of things to write about (there's ALWAYS something to write about ;)). That fact is, I may not be getting the Internet in my new apartment (it's rather pricey) and I don't have the ability to access my blog at work. I know, right? I mean true, I wouldn't blog on "work time" anyway, but perhaps on my lunch or personal break time I would consider dropping a blog line or two. However, I don't have that option. I just plain don't have access to it. So no bloggy at worky. This is a double edged sword in that I can't check any of your fine blogs either. We may have to resort to old fashioned email updates or even more archaic - the phone call. DAH! Maybe it's time to make the transition to "website" vs blog. Am I ready for that? Wow... I dunno. That's a lot of techno "know how" I don't think I can handle. I can barely work my camera phone. I'll look into it at any rate...
Anyway...
That leaves us with this - the official Blogging Sabbatical. I want to say Sabbatical because I have hopes that, one day, either we'll decide we really want the Internet in our apt and are willing to fork over some money for said luxury, OR when I begin my MPA program I will be able to use the campus Internet connection frequently and thus, take the time to blog something.
As for today, however, be warned that my blog will become a little dusty, a little forlorn, and a little rusty from under use. But, might I ask you keep a hopeful eye on the look out. Someday I'll dust off the old Bloggy blog and resume hopefully amusing you with stories of low riding manikin pants and the hypocrisy of Mormon Muffin's Calendar. Ah. What a moment in blog history.
See you later!

Sad! I'll miss your posts (even though I didn't really bother leaving comments to acknowledge I read them). Happy internet-less apartment - happy Easter - happy blogging sabbatical!
Mika
Well goodness ...before you disapear be sure to post some pictures of your new apartment. Even though we won't be able to read up on your exciting adventures at least we will be able to imagine where they will be taking place! We wish you well.
Ah Andrea, I'll miss checking yer blog! I use bloglines, a lot like googlereader, so I don't always comment, but I always read. Now that you're off of the blogging/facebook radar, I'll have to be the archaic email catcher upper!
Good luck in all of your adventures! I've really enjoyed catching up with you!
Andrea hi I have to make a comment on your blog, you don't know me or I you, but I came across your blog while googling a certain "mormon mom calendar" Im totally with you, in fact I know one of those "mormon moms" she is now divorced down here in saing george and hooking up with scandelous guys, so.... Anyways ya I gossiped and Im proud of who I am and how I look but this is outright mockery of our gospel and you are right it is soft porn... it is an attempt to titilate. Those "anonymous" comments came from people who have had some kind of issue with the church and hate being told they aren't doing something right. The guilty take it to heart. These women are willing to lose themselves to gain the world and you have every right to stand up and say something against it. I feel badly for them. I think its funny how one of them compared what they were doing to julianne hough posing in a bikini... well that would be the same except for the cover of the magazine didn't proclaim " Mormon singles... what we're really like ;)" Anyways feel free to write me back. I just wanted to thank you for not putting your light under a bushell
p.s. I've been reading your other posts, I love idea about book ratings, I think the exact same thing. I have purchased so many books just to throw them across the room later because of the language or material with in the the pages... I also love your post about your crushes, except for Obama? Seriously... and I thought maybe we could be friends but I see that you too are hypnotized by the media's slobbering love affair with him.. Oh well coulda been beautiful andrea, but a las it ends there.
Hall Family - thanks for your support and comments! I think we can still be friends even though I think Obama is HOTT! That's right. He's not bad to look at it - admit it.
All - and I know you are all wondering how I"m typing this now. Well I'm "borrowing" a friend's computer. Yes. Someday I will find a way to begin my blogging again. Perhaps when I get a life to blog about...or pony up some doe for the Internet... or tap into someone elses. GOOD IDEA!
:( No.
